To contribute to a successful relationship between the hospital, and referring physicians, the Physician Relations Team provides the following support:
- Assists you and your office staff in securing timely patient referrals with the appropriate specialists.
- Organizes physician-to-physician meetings at your office with specialists from Lakewood Regional Medical Center.
- Provides Information to your staff about managed care and insurance plans that the hospital accepts and admitting forms.
- Troubleshoots problems and communicates your needs directly to the appropriate individual or organization within the hospital.
- Serves as a convenient, single contact person for any of your questions.
