Volunteering

Volunteers for Lakewood Regional Medical Center enjoy meeting new people and having a sense of fulfillment. Our volunteers are encouraged to participate in areas where their talents and interests can best be put to use. Volunteers may choose assignments that focus on patient interaction or, have no patient interaction at all. Assignments vary according to the immediate needs of the medical center.

Going the Extra Mile

At Lakewood Regional Medical Center, we take pride in serving our community. People who volunteer enjoy going the extra mile and helping others.

Our volunteers:

  • Have a friendly, cooperative attitude
  • Are dependable and prompt
  • And attend mandatory orientation and training sessions
