Lakewood Regional Medical Center's residency program was founded in 1981. The program has enjoyed considerable stability and prosperity for over two decades.
The resident physician also participates in surgical cases at six other hospitals in the area, for a combined total of approximately 900 beds. The program features a strong comprehensive rotation schedule.
