Lakewood Regional Medical Center's residency program was founded in 1981 and is based in Lakewood CA,  The program has enjoyed considerable stability and prosperity for over three decades. 

The Podiatric Residency Program at Lakewood Regional Medical Center is designed to help the podiatric medical school graduate become a well-rounded podiatric physician. As a Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency Program offers a Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle credential.  One resident is selected annually for three years of contiguous training.
