We are always looking for people who can make a difference. Our volunteers at Lakewood Regional Medical Center greet visitors, escort patients and more.
We ask our volunteers to commit to 100 hours of service per year so that scheduling can be planned for two shifts a day, Monday through Friday. We provide a blue jacket to be worn over a white or black shirt. White or black pants, shoes and socks complete the uniform. Other important things to know about volunteering are:
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old
Volunteers do not work in the pharmacy
Volunteers do not work in any clinical capacity, even if you are a nursing or other clinical student
