Our patient portal, My Health Rec, allows you to securely view, download and transmit your health information.  This online tool is currently only available to inpatients at Lakewood Regional Medical Center. You can use it following your stay from the privacy of your own home, 24 hours a day. With My Health Rec, you can:

  • Privately view most lab and imaging results online
  • Access health records such as your immunizations, medications, allergies and medical procedures
  • Download those health records to share with your other doctors
  • Conveniently pay your hospital bills online

How to get started

You can enroll in My Health Rec during your next inpatient visit at Lakewood. For security purposes, you will need to register in person. The hospital’s patient registration representative can help you. We will need proper forms of identification and your preferred email address.

Most frequently asked questions

How do I sign up?

You can enroll in My Health Rec at the same time you’re registering for hospital admission. During registration, just tell the representative that you would like to open an account. Soon afterward, you will receive an email that will give you a link to establish your own login and password information. Once you complete that, you can view your medical information online whenever you like.

What do I need to enroll in My Health Rec?

You just need to provide a valid email address and an acceptable form of ID, which can include:

  • Driver’s license
  • State-issued ID
  • U.S. Military ID
  • Lakewood staff ID
  • Passport
  • Social Security card
  • Birth certificate
  • Marriage license
  • Divorce decree
  • Adoption papers

What if I do not receive my email invitation?

Please check your email account’s spam or junk mail folders. If you still cannot find the invitation, call the support line at (888) 252-8149 to verify your email address and have the invitation resent.

What lab results will be viewable in My Health Rec?

Most common lab results will be viewable in My Health Rec, but some sensitive results are not currently available. Some results that are not included are:

  • STD screenings
  • HIV
  • Pathology
  • Radiology
  • Microbiology
  • Some cancer markers
  • Drugs of abuse, alcohol and pregnancy-related results

When will I see my lab results?

Lab results will be delivered to My Health Rec 34 hours after they are completed and entered into your electronic health record. Lab results post to the portal even if they were done during an outpatient or Emergency Room visit. The 34-hour delay applies regardless of why you were seen. The inpatient summary document will not be available until after your discharge.

Can I access a parent’s account, give my children access to my portal or access multiple accounts with single login credentials?

Yes. A single login can be used to access multiple accounts. Also, parents can have their adult children access their accounts.

Is a version of My Health Rec available?

My Health Rec is mobile optimized, which means you can access the portal on any browser and any device connected to the Internet. There is currently not a downloadable app associated with My Health Rec.

Who do I contact for additional questions or technical help with My Health Rec?

You can call the My Health Rec support line at (888) 252-8149 any time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Will My Health Rec allow me to make online appointment requests or cancellation requests?

Currently, making online appointment and/or cancellation requests is not an available option with My Health Rec.

Will My Health Rec allow me to make online prescription refill requests?

Currently, prescription refill requests are not an available option with My Health Rec.

How do I read my blood pressure information?

Blood pressure values (systolic and diastolic) are being displayed as two separate values. Blood pressure values are currently listed in alphabetical order, so diastolic will be listed first. Plans are underway to have the two values report together.

Can I set up and access my My Health Rec account during my Lakewood hospital stay?

Yes, if you can access your email with your computer, smartphone or other mobile device and also connect to the Internet.
