Lakewood Regional Hospital’s summer food drive collects 39,630 servings of food, $7,516 in donations

A total of 39,630 servings of food donations was collected by the Lakewood Regional Medical Center as part of its Healthy Over Hungry Cereal Drive, the facility announced this week.

The donations included 1,780 servings of cereal and $6,748 which went to Project Shepherd, a non-profit community-based organization meant provide assistance to local families in need. Read more about Project Shepherd.
